Recurring Billing

Monthly Subscriptions

  • Charged on the same date each month
  • Billing cycle: 30 days
  • Automatic renewal

Annual Subscriptions

  • Charged once per year
  • Billing cycle: 365 days
  • Automatic renewal

Billing Cycle Example

If you subscribe on January 15:

  • Monthly: Next charge February 15
  • Annual: Next charge January 15 next year

Failed Payments

Why Payments Fail

What Happens

  1. You receive email notification
  2. Subscription status: “Payment Failed”
  3. Grace period to update payment
  4. Retry automatic payment

How to Fix

  1. Update Payment Method

    • Go to billing settings
    • Add new card
    • Remove old card
  2. Retry Payment

    • Click “Retry Payment”
    • Or wait for automatic retry
  3. Contact Bank

    • Ensure card is active
    • Verify international payments enabled
    • Check spending limits

Refund Policy

Eligible for Refund

  • Technical issues preventing lessons
  • Teacher cancellation
  • Platform unavailability

Not Eligible

  • Change of mind after lessons started
  • Missed lessons (student absence)
  • Completed billing periods

Request Refund

  1. Contact support within 7 days
  2. Provide reason and details
  3. Refunds processed within 5-10 business days

Updating Payment Information

Change Card

  1. Go to Account Settings
  2. Click “Billing” or “Payment Methods”
  3. Add new card
  4. Set as default
  5. Remove old card (optional)

Change Billing Interval

  • Cancel current subscription
  • Wait for period to end
  • Resubscribe with new interval

Platform Fees

  • Students: Pay subscription price only
  • Teachers: Platform fee deducted from earnings
  • No Hidden Fees: Transparent pricing
